Woman owned and operated, Chesapeake Boating Academy was established to empower boaters and promote boating safety. Our mission is to create an inclusive learning environment, where regardless of experience, everyone can feel comfortable getting behind the wheel to practice and improve their boat handling skills. Chesapeake Boating Academy offers students a choice of two curriculums; The National Safe Boating Council and US Powerboat Training.
The curriculum of the NSBC conforms with the American National On-Water Standard, and is available in a series of 3-hr modules. US Powerboating Training courses consist of either one or two full days of training.
*PLEASE NOTE: There is a three person minimum for courses. If that minimum is not met, you will be contacted to reschedule.
*Notice of Purchase Protection: It is common for Purchase Protection to send you a separate email asking for payment after you register for your course. This is because Purchase Protection is running your credit card simultaneously with your course registration and since Ticketspice and Purchase Protection are using separate card readers, credit cards detect it as fraud and they deny the Purchase Protection purchase. We are working on getting this issue resolved. Until then, if you do add the Purchase Protection, please look for a separate email and you can make a payment for Purchase Protection using that link.
